GRADE working group

The IVEG center is actively engaging in the GRADE community in the following roles:

GRADE for Veterinary Medicine Project Group

We lead the international effort to apply and operationalise GRADE for veterinary medicine. Priorities include methods for rating certainty across heterogeneous, species diverse evidence; appropriate stakeholder representation across companion and production animal contexts; and tailoring the Evidence to Decision (EtD) framework to veterinary medicine settings.

GRADE Planetary Health Working Group

We contribute veterinary and One Health perspectives to emerging GRADE guidance that integrates planetary health and planetary boundaries into guideline development. This work focuses on making planetary impacts explicit throughout the process - from scoping and panel composition to question formulation and evidence integration - so that EtD deliberations consider environmental alongside clinical and societal consequences, and implementation planning addresses adaptation, mitigation and research needs.
